Today was GORGEOUS.
We went on a walk and saw the sun set over the park, teething-Lane strapped upright in the ergo to his daddy and me wearing too-short shorts, feeling the air. Now that it's warm out, Lane reaches both of his arms directly to the side as if he's trying to open his chest to the sun and he looks so content and free.
My work has been very time consuming and it's only Monday night, Lane is seriously teething and no amber necklace or tylenol or wooden teether or cold frozen chewy teether can soothe him. I'm hoping this is why he's rejecting every single food we put in front of him, especially since I tried to pump at work today and got nothing.
With all sorts of life getting in the way, the sunset was exactly what we all needed to get back in sync.
