Lane in 45 seconds
I hear it's natural for mothers to believe their children are the most beautiful in the world. I don't always feel this way about Lane, particularly when he's fighting sleep, but yesterday he was pretty much a golden child and these 45 seconds were the peak.
This little boy has completely changed the last week from a baby into a tiny personality-packed child. I am loving this new phase. He plays by himself for longer now, preoccupied by learning how to turn pages in a book, the different noise rattles he has, what things taste like (oh yes, he's eating, and it's awesomely messy and fun). I am completely completely taken by him.
